Vienna International Summer Dance Intensive 2018 @ Sunrise_Studios
Wir freuen uns, unter dem Motto "Dance is joy - every day is a new chance!" unseren nächsten Tanzworkshop (Ballett/Jazz/Contemporary) mit internationalen Gastdozenten wie Russell Adamson (Contemporary/Jazz), Evenlyn Téri (Ballett) oder Mike Loewenrosen (Lyrical Jazz) ankündigen zu können (weitere Dozenten to be announced). Die Tanzintensive findet von Montag, 23. Juli bis inklusive Samstag, 28. Juli 2018 statt (Option: sollten zahlreiche Interessenten auch eine zweite Woche besuchen wollen, so besteht grundsätzlich die Möglichkeit, den Workshop auch auf die vorangehende Woche, 16. bis 21. Juli auszuweiten).
Die Intensivwoche (Montag, 23. Juli bis inkl. Samstag, 28. Juli) kann als gesamtes Paket (täglich 2 Tanzklassen, insgesamt also 12 Klassen) gebucht werden, es können aber auch einzelne Klassen besucht werden. Unterrichtszeiten: täglich 10.00 bis 11.30 h (Ballett/Evelyn Teri) sowie 11.45 h bis 13.15 h (Russell Adamson, verschiedene Stile).
Darüber hinaus gibt es am Nachmittag auch folgende offenen Klassen, die einzeln zu oben beschriebenen Basispaket dazugebucht oder auch einzeln gebucht werden können, u.a. Tap mit Michael Fischer, Modern mit Peter Beil oder Yoga for Dancers mit Katrin Mersch.

RUSSELL ADAMSON
Russell Adamson is an innovative teacher, motivating his students to focus on their work, so they can do more than they expected. With his support many young dancers have chosen dance as their profession. He has also created many choreographies, which received a lot of recognition in Finland and abroad. During the last years he has worked as a performer for the National Ballet of Estonia, the Gala for the 6th International Baltic Ballet Festival (Riga, Lithuania) and for Marimekkos 50th birthday, and many more. In addition he has worked with the Black Dance Festival in Vienna and the Estonia Art and Culture Gala Night in Tallinn.
As a choreographer he has created his own work including: "Spirit of the Landscape" (Finland), a solo and duet with Rodney Williams for the Black Dance Festival (Vienna), "Flow" a solo (London), "Terrain" (Finland), a choreography for the opera La Traviata (Finland), "Episodes" for the Rainbow Jazz Festival (Estonia), a choreography for the Higher Ground Gospel Concert (Finland), The Live Orchestral Music and visual effects show at the Estonia Concert Hall (Tallinn), a Funk & HipHop choreography for the Urban Culture Tour (Helsinki) and lately a choreography for the jazz opera Manon with the world premiere (Estonia) and created four big productions, which have been shown in London, Tallinn and Vienna. Most recently he created the dance pieces "Crossroads/Step into the Light" for the National Ballet of Estonia and realized this pieces in his function as the choreographer and director for the Opera House Rahvusooper Estonia, Tallinn (First performances: March/April 2017).
As a faculty member of the Finnish Dance and Music Conservatory Tampere he taught the last years mainly in Finland.
Besides since 2006 he is regularly guest teaching at the Impulstanz Festival in Vienna, Tanztage Hamburg, Conservatory Sunrise_Studios in Vienna, Studio an der Wien, Unicorn Studio Vienna, Open Look Saint Petersburg Dance Festival and many more.
Among others Russell is invited to do the company training of the Boris Eifmann Ballet in St. Petersburg this year. For that reason he's not available to teach at Impulstanz Festival this summer. But the good news is that he can make it to come to teach at our Summer Intensive @ Sunrisestudios in July! :-) As we know that so many dancers in and outside Vienna love his amazing classes we are confident many of them will take the chance to register
EVELYN TÉRI
Choreographer, Teacher, Director, JournalistBorn in Budapest, lives and works in Vienna/Austria. Trained at the Hungarian State Ballet School, graduated with honors. Studied with Hedwig Hidas, Horwath Margit, Boris Kniaseff, Olga Lepechinskaya, Marika Besobrasova, Anne Wooliams and Victor Gsovsky.
International career as ballet soloist in Hungary, Germany, France and Japan, Southamerica.
Principal ballerina: Giselle, Odette/Odile, Sylphide, Swanilda, Kitri, Lise, Julia, Cinderella etc.

She was guest ballerina in several countries, worked with John Cranko, George Balanchine, Anton Dolin, Gyula Harangozo, Peter van Dyck, Horst Müller.
Currently teacher at the Vienna State Opera School, besides she was also teacher for ballet at Musikhochschule Mannheim and Professor, principal teacher for ballet, artistic project director at the Conservatory Vienna Private University, Accademia Nationale di Danca/ Roma, Conservatoire Lubliana.
Teacher for ballet, character dance and repertoire etc.; giving many company classes and workshops. Successfully choreographed such as Nutcracker, Sleeping Beauty, Giselle, Swan Lake, besides she was as well choreographer for Opernball by Vienna Staatsballet.
Juror in many International Competitions. She was Executive Director @ Vienna's International Ballet and Dance Competition
Since many years she is also Board Member of ÖTR-Austrian Dance Council
Correspondent for Dance Magazine, New York and Ballet Journal, Germany, Danceart Budapest, Hungary
Awarded the Europe Price from Austrian Dance Council from CID (UNESCO) for beeing longtime Professor of dance and catalysator between education and choreography.
Awarded with the honorary titel Professor from the Budapest Academy
