SCHOLARSHIPS FOR THE STATE APPROVED DANCING/SINGING/ACTING MUSICAL THEATRE PROGRAM AT SUNRISE_STUDIOS CONSERVATORY IN VIENNA (AUSTRIA/EUROPE)

International talents who want to use their skills and artistic potential to reach a most versatile base to become best prepared for the different needs of the industry, have now the opportunity to apply for partial scholarships to enrol for the Conservatory Sunrise_Studios in Vienna / Austria (Europe).

Sunrise_Studios offer a 4-year state-approved professional degree course in dancing, acting and singing with the focus in musical theatre to train versatile talents not only in dancing, but also in singing and acting, imparting knowledge and skills that will enable them to succeed best within the industry.

At the end of the course, students take the state-approved diploma examination, awarding them internationally recognised artist status in the field of dancing, acting, singing and musical theatre.

Sunrise teachers are renowned experts in their fields, having appeared onstage and screen internationally. Further more Sunrise_Studios consistently cooperate with international guest teachers, among others US-star dancer and master teacher Rasta Thomas, Beyoncé choreographer Kobi Rozenfeld, HipHop expert Nina Kripas, Contemporary and Urban Dance master teacher/choreographer Russell Adamson and many more. Besides Sunrise_Studios aim to equip their students with both practical and theoretical knowledge about the profession they are about to enter. This is why the curricula at Sunrise_Studios include additional seminars, like nutrition workshops for dancers, anatomy, physiotherapeutical coaching, careers advice, presentation at auditions and legal (contract) aspects.

To enable their students to get enough of professional practice for the artistical future, Sunrise_Studios regularly offer opportunities to perform in shows, plays, films, concerts, charity events or competitions. Further more Sunrise_Studios support their graduates to build their carreers, advising and informing them about auditions as well as about job offers and connecting them to the industry.

Due to the state approved status the school's diploma is internationally recognized and Sunrise students are allowed to apply for different benefits like special rates for local public transport and many more.

Regarding the school year 2018/2019 (starting by 3th September 2018) Sunrise_Studios are willing to offer partial scholarships for international talents. It's possible to stay one, two, three or all four school years. To pay for the education is only a very reduced partial tuition fee just for solo voice lessons and solo coaching, that means 135,- Euro per month, payable 10 times per year (not to pay in the summer break). All regular daily group classes (about 30 hours per week) in dancing, acting and singing are free of charge. Besides please consider usual expenses for students' accomodation, public transport (special price students' ticket) and expenses for the daily life, like food etc. If we have some extra workshops or masterclasses with international guest teachers there can be in some cases a little individual workshop fee per class.

APPLICATION REQUIREMENTS: Previous knowledge in eighter dancing, singing or acting is required but not in all three branches obligatory because due to an efficient level system also basic knowledge can become imparted in different subjects. Sunrise_Studios expect sufficient artistic potential to be qualified as well for the training in dancing, acting and singing too. Suitable performing personality as well as musicality and a healthy and developable glottis are further basic requirements.
